Cole cocked his head as several men entered the room. The
humming of night-vision goggles was vivid, and he smiled as they fanned out
around him.
“I see, said the blind man.” Cole whispered, noting their
shuffling as they prepared to shoot.
One round was fired, but Cole danced like lightning around
the room. Several bodies hit the ground simultaneously, necks broken at sharp
angles.
Sliding to a stop, he turned empty sockets toward the open
door. Just beyond, he heard several more men entering the darkness, and he
smiled again.
Sliding into the darkness beyond, he prepared his revenge.
